Community Outreach

Community is the core of our mission.

The Kenai Watershed Forum focuses on working together for healthy watersheds across the Kenai Peninsula using high quality research, restoration and education.  Our community outreach program engages community members of all ages and across political perspectives to learn about the health of our watershed.

Stream Watch Volunteers are everyday people making a difference by sharing river protection information both on and off of Kenai Peninsula Rivers.

Kenai River Festival An annual family friendly, free celebration of the Kenai River through live music, food, children’s activities and more!

School Programs Students (K-12) learn about watershed health through engaging interactive lessons by Dan the Watershed Man.

Summer Camp Campers create memories to last a lifetime in week long day camps in the KWF Yurt.
