Fireside Chats: Archaeological Sites at KPC with Adam Dunstan

Fireside Chats are back for week 5 at Kenai River Brewing Company with speaker Adam Dunstan. Adam Dunstan is a professor from Kenai Peninsula College and a cultural and linguistic anthropologist.

Adam will plans to talk about two archaeological sites near Kenai Peninsula College in Soldotna, both on the Kenai and stretching across 1,500 years, where salmon fishing was a key part of the communities (and how that shows up through traces on the land). Adam will also relate this to how he think this information is relevant to modern discussions of sustainability and stewardship of the salmon and river.
