The Kenai Peninsula Birding Festival provides uniquely Alaskan & affordable (most are free!) events like guided birding floats down glacial rivers, young artist exhibit, beginner birding workshops & more!
KEYNOTE: Lynn Barber, author and birding enthusiast, has participated in a Texas Big Year (522 species), an ABA Big Year (723 species) and 3 simultaneous big years in South Dakota in addition to birding extensively in Alaska. She is the author of Extreme Birder: One Woman’s Big Year and is anticipating a release of a new book on selected endangered birds in the United States.
