Join Stream Watch in removing our seasonal plant protection fencing!
Each year, Stream Watch volunteers install 2+ miles of temporary fencing to protect riverside plants. Riverside plants do an important job of securing the soil so that it does not erode into nearby waters, smothering fish eggs and stressing adult fish. The fences do a great job of keeping people off of the plants so that the plants can protect the river.
Each Fall, the fences are removed and stored. All of the supplies and training are provided so that you can join us in this effort to remove the fencing!
Open to the general public.
